We were going to go to Turkey. Heres what we were told about the restrictions currently in force in the country

Lonely Journey

We were going to go to Turkey. Here is what the travel agency told us about the restrictions currently in force in the country

The tourist season is just around the corner, and we, like most Russians, began to think about upcoming vacation. After we had money stuck in one very self-respecting airline since last year, we decided that “early booking” is not about us. And they began to consider the prospects and possibilities of only the foreseeable rest.

The choice fell on Turkey.

Rest in Turkey Rest in Turkey «6»> We prefer to book tours, what is called live, ie. in a travel agency. There, the manager will suggest options for resorts, and tell you about the hotel you like. Fortunately, we have developed quite friendly relations with one of the agencys employees.

Having previously phoned and voiced our wishes, at the appointed time we were already sitting in the agencys comfortable chairs and drinking coffee.

Lyudmila, that was the name of the manager, showed all the selected options, focusing on one new and little-known hotel.

— What do you know about the restrictions currently in force in Turkey?

We looked at each other with a shrug.

— Nothing.

— Then listen, — continued Lyudmila:

Turkey now has a curfew on weekdays, starting from 21:00 to 5:00.

Most are stores open at their usual hours from 10:00 to 20:00, except Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday only grocery stores, and then from 10:00 to 17:00.

Restaurants and cafes are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. For obvious reasons, the occupancy rate is exactly half.

From April 13 to May 12, all restaurants will be closed altogether — Ramadan. Products for takeaway and delivery only.

The attitude towards tourists is more than loyal. And, nevertheless, when going outside, you must wear a mask. And to avoid trouble with the police, always have your passport and voucher with you.

— Everything works in hotels without any restrictions, — Lyudmila finished on a positive note.

In addition, Lyudmila advised to postpone the trip a little, because in the near future Turkey plans to cancel the mandatory PCR test.

So we decided that #Turkey will wait a bit.
