Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy made a statement on the new rules for entering the country starting from April 15
The opening of the tourist season 2021 is just around the corner and high-ranking officials of countries whose economies are fully or partially dependent on foreign tourists are increasingly making loud statements.
These statements are mostly concern the rules of entry and stay of foreign tourists on vacation. Each receiving party in the current conditions is trying to facilitate the procedure for passing passport control when crossing the border, while observing all the necessary safety requirements.
At the moment, the border of most countries cannot be crossed without a negative PCR test.
At the same time, any information about the cancellation of this procedure is considered as something beyond the generally accepted.
So the other day the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said that from April 15, Turkey may cancel the mandatory PCR test for travelers, which caused a lot of noise in the tourist environment.
He said this is true, with one caveat:
If the situation with the pandemic in the countries returns to normal.
