Tunisian Tourism Minister Habib Ammar announced the start date of the tourist season for Russians
The hour «X» is getting closer , when tourists from Russia, who have missed the gentle sun, will move together in the direction of the warm southern seas. One of the most beloved among Russians is the Mediterranean, since most of the countries south of Russia that are ready to take Russian tourists on vacation are located in this region. Turkey, Greece, Malta, in the future, Egypt and Italy are waiting with pleasure for the Russians.
Tunisia is not far behind in this regard — a country deservedly loved by our compatriots for reasonable prices and excellent service.
Tunisia, for its part, accepts attempts to renew tourism relations with our country.
So a whole high-ranking delegation arrived in Moscow, headed by the Minister of Tourism of Tunisia, Mr. Habib Ammar.
The purpose of this mission is to negotiate with the heads of Rostourism, representatives of the Russian tourism industry, including Rospotrebnadzor, and convince them of the need to open charter flights between Tunisia and Russia in the near future. Moreover, there are all the prerequisites for this.
For his part, Mr. Russian tourists. So in particular, he said that:
Tunisia intends to receive organized tourists from Russia starting from April 19 this year. And I am ready to provide Russians with complete security in a pandemic.
So, in particular, all tourists from Russia will be served under the «Ready & amp; Safe» and be accommodated in hotels that have undertaken to comply with it. The same goes for restaurants, cafes and transport companies.
The protocol provides for standard but effective security measures, namely:
All employees of hotels and catering establishments will be required to use personal protective equipment everywhere.
Before entering the hotel and when visiting a restaurant, a mandatory temperature measurement is required. Critical mark +37.9!
A sick tourist will be quarantined, and random tests will be taken among those who communicated with him.
Accommodation in hotels will be made with 50% occupancy. The buffet service is planned to be replaced with a la carte system.
Tourists will need masks during excursions.
This is probably all the restrictions.
An organized tourist from Russia will need to have a negative PCR test on hand before departure, done no earlier than 72 hours before departure to # Tunisia. And thats it! No quarantines or other restrictions. *
* This condition will not apply to tourists who come to Tunisia individually! They will have a 48-hour quarantine and a second PCR test.
It is also worth noting that active vaccinations are currently taking place in Tunisia population with the Russian vaccine «Sputnik V».
