Direct charter flights between Russia and Egypt are open
So something happened that both Russian and Egyptian tourists have been waiting for so long hoteliers.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had a telephone conversation, during which they discussed not only issues of international cooperation, but also issues of the resumption of direct charter flights.
Let me remind you that direct air flights from Russia to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh were discontinued 5.5 years ago after the plane crash of a Russian airliner over the Sinai Peninsula.
And during a telephone conversation, the presidents of both countries finally agreed to resume charter flights in full, bypassing third countries.
On against the backdrop of the recent closure of Turkey, this news turned out to be more than a good thing, since it will allow at least a part of Russians to quickly manage to rebook their Turkish tours to Egypt.
